This morning we set off sailing towards Prickly Pear, a small archipelago off the coast of Anguilla. It was my turn to get some sailing experience, and I headed off at heading of 308 degrees to aim for the point where we wanted to anchor. In just over 90 minutes
In the morning, waking in crocus bay, the others fancied snorkelling in an adjacent bay - little bay, over by a diving spot. We contested with some bigger boats who seemed to want to get as far in as possible for their passengers, us observing a more sensible distance. I
A dilemma occupied the early morning, the weather forecast creating problems for the planned trip to Anguilla. The Northerly swell from ocean would make staying in Road Bay, the capital of Anguila, difficult because it's on the North side of the island, but because of it's
Today I got a taste of true sailing! We woke in Gustavia after last nights' anchoring uncertainty, to find ourselves still in the same place we were last night! Phew! The advance party had already headed to shore by the time Pete and I woke, in search for provisions,
We started the day with breakfast on the sun deck, with orange juice, I had overnight oats, and coffee. We were soon ready to go ashore onto the beach at Colombier, a lovely cove that is only accessible by boat. The cove is observed by a mansion on an outcrop,

It's the final day in St Anton, and we've all had a really great time! Today we thought we'd revisit the better routes of the week, so we started with a gondola up to Rendl again, where the Route 1 came down all the
The day started in a thick fog that made skiing slightly more challenging. Instead of being able to look ahead and predict the patches of ice, moguls, or other skiiers, you had to trust in your legs and hips to deal with them all as they arrived. Fortunately the snow
Today the four of us set out together to Rendl, a different area to where we'd all been before, on a recommendation from Martin - the owner of the house who'd said there were lots of wide open slopes. To get there, we took a slightly
